Firstly, thank your kindness and hard-working for providing so good software, which shorted the time valualbe of us.
I have two questions:
1, If I have download the literatures from ISI web of knowledge to EndnoteX2, and how to export all litures to .txt for analysis with HistCite.
2, I don't know which is better: use the literatures with reviews or not? I believe the articles maybe preferable.

If you download data from the Web of Science and load it into EndNote, you lose the most important data required for HistCite -- the Cited References. EndNote does not store Cited References (except in a generic Notes field).

If you export records from EndNote in Web of Science text format, the file may be imported into HistCite, though you will lose the Cited References.

I cannot comment on your question about reviews and articles. It entirely depends on what you are trying to analyze.
