(1) i did not manage to select a specific time span to analyze from my dataset. say i want all the analysis don only for the years 2000-2008
(2) it would be great to get in the bibliographical tables also the indexes like h-index, g-index etc ... for the authors

Posted - 12/07/2008 : 09:14:01 (1) too bad that subsets are not possible. this makes some analysis very cumbersome. especially when looking into groupings and subgroups, or the time record of individuals / groups
(2) when will the statistics module be ready?

Posted - 11/24/2008 : 11:11:23 Thanks for your suggestions:
HistCite does not currently have the capacity to analyse subsets of data within a collection. At present you need to create a marked list of the records you want, export them as a set and then perform an analysis of the new set. A future version of HistCite will have subset analysis capability.
We are working on a statistical module which will include h-index and other popular bibliometrics.
